“Opus Anglicanum” – “English Work” – is 5 men singing unaccompanied and a narrator which was founded in 1988. They have performed for the Royal Northern College of Music, BBC Radio 3, Festival de Wallonie, Windsor Festival, Endellion Festival, and Three Choirs Festivals in Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester.
Story-telling sequences have included the sonnets of Shakespeare, the Cornish fishing industry, the collecting of English folk music, the Tudor poet John Skelton, the escape of Charles 11, and the sinking of the destroyer HMS Duchess in 1939.
