Nathan leads a diverse career as pianist, composer, and conductor, collaborating with a wide range of artists both at home and abroad. Alongside recent appearances at the Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, St John’s Smith Square and LSO St Luke’s, Nathan has performed widely across Europe, including at prestigious venues such as the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Palais du Residence, De Doelen, the Lucerne and Bolzano Festivals, as well as in Korea, Canada, and the US.
2014 will also see several performances of a major new work for solo piano, and a new work for NOW ensemble, premiered at Barge Music in New York in December 2013, will be heard at various venues in the USA. Other commissions include pieces for cellist Charles Watt, violinist David Chivers, a multi-piano project at London’s Limewharf, and a series of new piano pieces collaborating with visual artists-in-residence at the Arts Club Aldeburgh Beach.
