Essex Rocks Presents … Faith in Physics, Denial Twist, Karmataus and Luke Fisher
A night of Live music featuring some of the brightest unsigned talent from across the region, Tickets £3/£5 Adv/door
Faith in Physics –
Faith in Physics performed their first original material gig at the Royal Oak for Essex Rocks in March 2018, they return as the headline act just 5 months later having become regulars on the Essex Live Music scene, performed on the main stage at the Clacton Beside the Seaside and releasing their debut single ‘Just Watch Me’ in July.
The band started out as many great bands do – an idea between friends and a pint! Though in this case, the pint was being pulled. Lead vocalist/guitarist, Liam, and bass player, Sam, met as bartenders with a musical dream and were subsequently joined by James, on keys, Olly on lead guitar and Elliot on drums. Chemistry was built after a couple of months and the band decided to start gigging around Colchester as soon as they could!
A noisy, yet dashingly handsome three piece from the Colchester area – Denial Twist ship with only the very finest in groove-infused Garage Rock. Over the years Denial Twist have turned up at the biggest and best of the local festivals including LeeStock, Ipswich Music Day and Mordor’s Festival of The Dark Arts, raiding the odd bin along the way and occasionally even being allowed on stage
BREAKING ACT – Karmataus perform their first Essex Rocks gig!
A form of rock but also has a range of other influences. They use original riffs and experimentation along side unique vocal styles that will put you on repeat.
With a suitcase full of songs and a great live performance, Luke Fisher is the must see acoustic act for 2017!
